Balaji Impex, even in an era when the chemical industry was not yet booming, pioneered importing chemicals from all parts of the world in containers, from major countries including Saudi Arabia, Spain, France, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Taiwan, Oman and many more. The firm is currently importing as well as exporting chemicals on the West Coast of India in break bulk as well as containers on a regular basis.

Our method of importing in containers has been a huge relief to our customers, who constantly faced problems like contamination, moisture and storage. We have established an excellent supply chain management system for our customers which minimizes the total cost by monitoring the movement of freights & customs clearance. Always ahead of their time, the company is the only one in India with its own warehousing facility situated in Patalganga, Maharashtra, India. Along with that we have recently acquired one of the foremost companies, Ulhas Oil and Chemical Industries Private Limited, an 82-year-old Legacy company that manufactures Sulphur Powder and Sulphur-based pesticides. It is ISO-9001 certified and manufactures products as per the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). This makes Balaji Impex the first trading company to have its own manufacturing unit.

Strategically, we represent two refineries i.e. Nayara Energy Limited, situated at Jamnagar, Gujarat and Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemical Limited, situated at Mangalore, Karantaka. Due to the geographic location of both these refineries, we are able to cater to customers situated in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Our model of supplying Sulphur from Domestic refineries and from imported sources gives assurance to our customers of quality products throughout the year at the most competitive prices. Further we are the only trading firm in India that exports Sulphur in Bulk from India.

Balaji Impex has also set up a branch in Dubai, UAE in 2017. Our presence in UAE gives our firm a strong local standing, which makes our trading/business much sharper than its other peers. Presently, we are supplying Sulphur from countries viz. Oman, Saudi Arabia Thailand, Vietnam, China, Africa and South America.

Apart from importing chemicals, Balaji Impex also deals in products such as Sulphuric Acid and Pet Coke all over India. Every day our systems handle a large number of order deliveries all over India, smoothly and on time.
